Rachel Armstrong, M.D., FACS
As a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Texas A & M, Dr. Armstrong has a bachelor of science in biology.
Dr. Armstrong earned her medical degree at Texas A & M Health Science Center College of Medicine in Bryan, Texas and completed her residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Prior to joining Jackson Surgical Associates, Dr. Armstrong worked as a general surgeon in the United States Air Force, serving in Africa, South Korea, and Nellis AFB in Nevada.
In her spare time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys horseback riding, hiking and running. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is had published multiple peer-reviewed articles.
